BETHANY, Mo. - While some school districts in the KXCV/KRNW listening area have canceled summer school completely due to COVID-19, the South Harrison County R-2 School District is taking a different approach.
South Harrison Superintendent Dennis Eastin told KXCV/KRNW that a part of the district's reasoning for hosting a virtual summer school is so they'll be prepared to teach virtually again this fall if the pandemic forces them to.
Eastin adds that 25 students have enrolled in the June courses.
